Each centrally heated bedroom suite
is named after the wood used for the furniture and fittings within. The rooms
have their own entrances into the front courtyard, have fresh flowers for
your arrival and TV with freeview, DVD, CD, radio and light refreshments. Guests also have the use of a
comfortable lounge / library with stunning views into the garden and across
the parkland. Hidden here is access to a secret yet fully licensed,
residential bar. Stephen, with his sons and a company
of others, make bespoke and restore antique furniture in the next farm steading
at Kirkharle, 3/4 mile to the west. There are many examples of their artistry
at Shieldhall and a gallery, showroom and a coffee house are at Kirkharle.
The Oak
