Each centrally heated bedroom suite is named after the wood used for the furniture and fittings within. The Oak Room, with a paneled four posted bed copied from the original in Lindisfarne Castle, has a large modern bathroom.

The Mahogany Room, with colonial styled inlayed furniture also has a large bathroom.

The Elm Room, with twin beds and furniture of a modern design, has a large shower-room

The Pine Rooms with traditionally fitted furniture, maximize the limited space. Here there is a small double bed in one room and twin beds in the other. Each room has separate access to the bathroom.

All the rooms have their own entrances into the front courtyard, have fresh flowers for your arrival and TV with freeview, DVD, CD, radio and light refreshments.

Guests also have the use of a comfortable lounge / library, and a fully licensed, yet secret residential bar.

Stephen, with his sons make and restore bespoke and antique furniture in the next farm steading at Kirkharle, 3/4 mile to the west. There are many examples of their artistry at Shieldhall and a gallery, showroom and coffee house are at Kirkharle.

Sarah is an accomplished flower arranger and a bouquet can be awaiting your arrival…..Champagne too if the occasion demands.
